North Channel Kilts was founded in 1996 by Seattle natives Patrick Roper and Mark Cooper. Patrick was trained in his teens by a kiltmaker from Northern Ireland and after years of perfecting the craft, he trained his friend Mark.
Over the years, North Channel Kilts has evolved into one of the premier kiltmakers in North America. Our knowledge of tartans, history, and culture is unsurpassed by nearly any company in the business and the workmanship of our Premium Grade Kilts have been examined and graded “excellent” by some of the finest kiltmakers in the world.
